Professional HR Payroll (m/w/d)

Your role and responsibilities

•    Preparation and checking of monthly payroll accounting, taking into account and complying with social security, payroll tax, collective bargaining, company and individual contractual requirements and framework conditions with the help of the         external service provider and the tools provided (ADP world)
•    Contact person for employees and managers for all payroll-related issues from recruitment to the end of employment and preparation of all necessary documents, certificates etc. in the employee life cycle
•    Correspondence with social security institutions, authorities and offices as well as the preparation of certificates including the supervision of audits by social security institutions and the tax office
•    Implementing legal and collective bargaining changes and carrying out monthly and annual closing and planning work as part of payroll accounting and HR reporting in close coordination with financial accounting and controlling
•    Collaboration in the continuous process optimization and further development of the systems in the area of payroll accounting (SAP Success Factors / ATOSS / IQ file)
•    Supporting the team lead Support for the team lead in coordinating payroll for cross-border commuters/expats.

Your profile and qualifications

•    Successfully completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) and/or commercial training with further training as a payroll accountant (m/f/d) ideally further training as a HR specialist
•    Several years of professional experience and deep knowledge of payroll accounting/time management, preferably in manufacturing companies
•    Professional experience in payroll processing for other European countries is an advantage
•    Good knowledge of social security and wage tax law
•    Routine use of MS Office applications, experience with cloud-based HR systems
•    Strong customer focus and friendliness in combination with a proactive and structured way of working
•    Deep understanding of labor law and data protection
•    High degree of conscientiousness and reliability as well as an independent way of working
•    Strong intercultural competence and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with people
•    Fluent German and good English skills
