Your role and responsibilities
• Collaboration on development projects for back sheets, laminates and pouch films
• Support in qualifying new products at international sites and at customer locations
• Planning, execution and evaluation of pilot-scale trials
• Monitoring market, raw material and technology trends with a focus on sustainability and innovation
• Further development of test methods in close cooperation with relevant departments
• Technical support for customers as well as close coordination with internal and external partners
• Collaboration with global production and development teams on process optimization and technical topics
• Support with IP filings as well as analysis of patents and competitor activities
• Preparation of training materials and support in knowledge transferFurther development of test methods in close cooperation with relevant departments
Your profile and qualifications
• Successfully completed degree in plastics engineering, process engineering or a comparable field
• Sound technical expertise, ideally in film extrusion, embossing, printing and silicone coating
• Experience in the hygiene industry and a good understanding of customer and market requirements are an advantage
• Good project management skills and a basic understanding of business and commercial topics
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high level of initiative and a hands-on mentality
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and a confident, customer-oriented manner
