Strategic Market Manager Segment Industrial Solutions (m/f/d)

Your contribution

  • Responsible for the Development and the execution of the Strategic Segment Market Plan for the business segment Industrial Solutions to support sales forecast and strategic initiatives incl. budgeting & controlling
  • Evaluate market needs and new ideas from the market and provide insights to the Market segment Managers to support the development of new products and campaigns
  • Provide a comprehensive overview (market intelligence) about the Ecosystem (market, customers and competition) 
  • Coordinate with Market/Product Segment Managers to optimize the commercialization strategy and execution of products and services
  • Guide Sales and set up priorities for key projects, take ownership in driving key projects also by yourself  
  • Build and maintain network of key opinion leaders 
  • Lead the Brand Management for the business segment Industrial Solutions
  • Represent the business segment IS at important events to improve brand recognition 
  • Develop and implement new tools, identify and distribute best practices and processes that improve the overall performance 
  • Lead preparation for marketing and educational materials to support commercial efforts (white papers, web site, training programs - internal and external, product brochures, etc.)
  • Create and develop strong partnerships with Commercial, Operations and lead cross-functional teams as well as coach and develop employees further
  • Closely partner with Commercial Operations (sales) team to create insightful metrics and reports on the effectiveness of campaigns

Your strengths

  • Degree in Marketing or another business-related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5-10 years of global marketing/Strategic marketing planning 
  • Preferred professional experience in B2B Marketing 
  • Leadership experience, leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with all levels of management to influence positive change
  • High level of business acumen 
  • Excellent understanding of customer and market needs
  • Ability to derive and formulate value proposition of technical products 
  • Excellent methodology and project management skills 
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation and convincing skills, effectively articulate a vision and motivate people to take action 
  • The ability to handle and present complex topics and present them in an understandable and structured way
  • Identify and track success metrics 
  • Lead people by providing orientation, set stretching targets 
  • Intercultural competence 
  • Business fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally 
  • Driver’s license
