Our RKW Gronau site was founded in 1969 and has been part of the RKW Group since 2002. Today, around 130 employees produce carded, spunbond and hydro-entangled spunbond nonwovens here. As an expert in the manufacture of nonwovens, the site has been working with global and local customers for many years.

As an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, you are responsible for ensuring that the electrical systems in production function reliably at all times. You install, maintain, and repair electrical operating, production, and process systems. You also program, configure, and test systems, build control cabinets and automation technology, and ensure that energy and data cables are laid professionally. During your training, you will get to know various departments – from maintenance to automation technology.
What you bring:

Apprenticeship duration:
3.5 years
As a Warehouse Logistics Specialist, you ensure that goods and materials are in the right place at the right time. You receive deliveries, check the quantity and condition of goods against the accompanying documents, and store them properly. You also plan delivery routes, determine the most efficient shipping method, assemble deliveries, and take care of proper packaging. In doing so, you prepare important documents such as delivery notes and customs papers and help ensure a smooth flow of goods. During your training, you will get to know all logistics processes – from goods receipt and order picking to shipping.
What you bring:

- Basic knowledge of working with a PC and common software
Apprenticeship duration:
3 years
As an Industrial Mechanic for Industrial Engineering, you ensure that machines and production systems are always ready for operation. You maintain and repair technical systems, replace worn components, and make sure that all safety-related equipment functions properly. You also manufacture components, assemble machine or system parts, and commission them. During your training, you will get to know different areas – from production and assembly to maintenance.

Apprenticeship duration:
3.5 years
As a Plastics and Rubber Technologist, you are a skilled professional in the plastics processing industry. You set up production machines and operate them. You also monitor the production process to ensure smooth operations. During your training, you will get to know different areas – from product development and production to quality assurance.

What We Offer:
- Attractive apprenticeship salary in accordance with the collective agreement of the chemical industry:
- €1,186 per month in the 1st year of training
- €1,249 per month in the 2nd year of training
- €1,313 per month in the 3rd year of training
- €1,396 per month in the 4th year of training
- Additional special payments
- 30 days of vacation
- 37.5-hour week
- Further special payments, including €700 holiday pay, a 13th salary in November, and a 23.5% future bonus
- Travel cost reimbursement for vocational school
- Modern work equipment: commercial apprentices receive a laptop and accessories, while technical apprentices receive an iPad and accessories – for work and vocational school
