Diversity and a culture of inclusion are key to success – they foster innovation and creativity. Different perspectives, experiences, and abilities are needed to develop new approaches and meet the challenges of change in the economy and society. That is why we promote diversity in every form. We value a trusting, open, and inclusive corporate culture and treat each other with respect.

 

DEI task force

With employees from marketing and sales, purchasing, management, human resources and communications, we develop strategies that promote an inclusive work environment and counteract discrimination and unequal treatment. Our most important tasks include:

 

  •  Analyzing the current situation and identifying potential for improvement,
  • Formulating measures and initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion,
  • Implementing the developed strategies, including training, workshops, and adjustments to guidelines,
  • Regularly monitoring our progress based on defined KPIs, and
  • Communicating with and involving all employees to sustainably raise awareness of DEI issues.

Diversity Charter and DEI Group Policy

The aim of the Diversity Charter is to promote recognition, appreciation, and inclusion of diversity at work. By signing the charter in July 2021, we express our full support for the ideals and goals described in it. The diversity of our employees is an important factor for our success. It will continue to increase due to demographic change, the competition for skilled workers, and the pluralization of life and work in RKW Group, sustainably promoting operational performance.
This is also reflected in our DEI Group Policy, which aims to ensure fair and non-discriminatory working practices and compliance with the gender equality and anti-discrimination laws in the countries in which RKW operates."
 

Employee survey & performance review

Coping climate change and the negative effects of wasting resources are the greatest challenges facing society today. As an energy-intensive plastics processing company, we are aware of our special responsibility and know what contribution we can make to mitigate climate change and improving the circular economy. We address the challenges to which we can make a direct contribution. The key words “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle“ and the active support of the Circular Economy are of particular importance in our company.
