RKW Group presents innovative nonwoven and film solutions at Techtextil 2026

Corporate Packaging

Mannheim, March 25, 2026 – At Techtextil 2026, taking place in Frankfurt from April 21 to 24, RKW Group will showcase its broad portfolio of nonwovens and technical films. Visitors can learn more about high-performance solutions at booth D12 in hall 12.1, where products for a wide range of industries will be presented – including building & construction, automotive, industrial applications, furniture and personal care. Highlights at the trade fair will include the hydroentangled spunmelt nonwoven RKW HyJet®, Trikoron lamination film as well as various technical films like film for coating, embossed release films and breathable films.

A particular focus will be on the hydroentangled spunmelt nonwoven RKW HyJet®, which RKW was the first manufacturer worldwide to produce inline. The nonwoven is made entirely of polypropylene and combines exceptional softness with high tear resistance. Thanks to its continuous filaments, the material is especially robust and versatile. RKW HyJet® is available in different colors and basis weights and is suitable for a variety of applications, including transport protection in the automotive industry; as a carrier and reinforcement layer in various membranes and tapes in construction; personal care products such as cleaning and wet wipes, and early-harvest cover in agriculture and horticulture.

“RKW stands for quality and tailor-made solutions,” explains François Nelias, Director Sales Technical Films & Nonwovens. “We develop high-performance nonwovens and laminates that are precisely tailored to our customers’ requirements. As a pioneer in the inline production of hydroentangled spunmelt nonwovens, we continuously drive innovation forward together with our partners.” At the same time, Nelias emphasizes the company’s responsibility: “Sustainability is a key aspect for us – we are continuously working to make our product cycles as closed as possible in line with the current state of technology.”

In addition to RKW HyJet®, RKW Group will also present its thermobonded spunbond nonwovens. These are used, among other things, as roofing underlays, in automotive applications, and in the furniture and various industries. They are also used in hygiene and medical applications.

Trikoron – Technical films for demanding applications

Trikoron films act as high-performance functional layers and can be processed into laminates with a wide variety of materials. They are the perfect complement to our RKW nonwovens. The copolymers used give the films high puncture resistance as well as excellent thermal stability. These properties play a decisive role especially in the automotive industry – for example, as a functional intermediate layer between nonwoven and textile, they provide adhesion and protection in vehicle flooring laminates, and for batterie covers in electric vehicles.

Embossed films – Customized solutions based on customer needs

RKW’s embossed films are developed according to customer specifications and equipped with a range of surface structures. Their surface properties and special release characteristics make them suitable for a wide variety of applications – from composite prepreg, rubber sheet to adhesive films.

RKW Group invites all interested parties to visit the company at Techtextil 2026 at booth D12 in hall 12.1. The trade fair team will be available for personal discussions and will be happy to advise on suitable solutions for individual requirements.
