Specialist Controlling (m/w/d)

Your role and responsibilities

  • Provision of financial analyses, reporting, and planning (forecast, MTP, budget) to create transparency and to track action plans from a functional perspective
  • Reporting and development of appropriate controlling and accounting measures
  • Responsibility for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (according to HGB and IFRS)
  • Monitoring and supporting investment processes through investment calculations and the calculation of relevant KPIs
  • Advising division and department management on all business-related matters
  • Contribution margin accounting and price analyses
  • Execution of ad-hoc and variance analyses, preparation of performance indicators, identification of improvement potential
  • Analysis of business performance developments
  • Continuous improvement of existing controlling processes and tools at the group level

Your profile and qualifications

  • You have completed a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling
  • You have several years of professional experience in the controlling department of an industrial company
  • Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS is required
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, and ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • You possess a strong affinity for numbers as well as analytical skills and the ability to interpret figures in a business context
  • Your English and German language skills are business fluent
