Application Engineer (m/f/d) for R&D in the field of Hygiene-Compounds

Ensuring and continuously developing technical support as well as Research & Development (R&D) in the global hygiene business (BBS films)
Managing the innovation pipeline for hygiene compounds and recycled materials
Developing new formulations, implementing product modifications, and coordinating successful qualification at all relevant RKW sites
Responsibility for output and quality of internally recycled hygiene regrind at the Petersaurach site
Developing and defining technology platforms for the international rollout of hygiene products
Analyzing and assessing raw material, machinery, and product developments with regard to sustainability, innovation, and cost efficiency
Providing technical support to internal customers as well as supporting IP management and patent strategy development
Planning and conducting training and coaching for production sites

Completed degree in industrial or technical engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in R&D or product management within the plastics industry
In-depth knowledge of compounding processes and formulation development
Experience with production processes and industrial manufacturing environments
Strong project management skills and a structured working approach
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%
