Your tasks

  • Continuous improvement of inspection systems in close collaboration with the Technical Hygiene department (TH), engineering, production departments, and suppliers
  • Development, management, and ongoing optimization of product-specific camera recipes with the aim of achieving the highest possible quality at the lowest possible waste rate
  • Regular and ad hoc validation of systems and recipes
  • Data analysis and reporting related to production processes
  • Monitoring of production activities
  • Support for the recipe department and purchasing regarding supplier complaints
  • Designing, organizing, and delivering training sessions for machine operators
  • Close cooperation with Quality Assurance (QS-T), production, and product managers concerning defect specifications and alarm thresholds
  • Providing support to other RKW Group plants as needed
  • Support for the department heads PR/DR and EX/SCHW in:
    • Root cause analysis of major production issues
    • Stabilization of production processes
    • Assistance with “challenging” production runs
  • Support for product and project engineers regarding:
    • Further development of products and production processes
    • Development and modification of process techniques and parameters to ensure reliable production of new or modified products (product transfer to production)
  • Assistance in other department areas and for the QS-T department head in day-to-day business
  • Radiation Protection Officer for the Wasserburg plant

Your strengths

  • Completed university degree in plastics engineering, alternatively, completed technical training (Technician) with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Practical experience in a similar position is an advantage
  • Independent working style and high level of self-initiative
  • Analytical thinking, foresight, and an optimistic, solution-oriented mindset (“deriving ideas from problems”)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good command of both German and English
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Experience with production data acquisition (BDE) is an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
