Your tasks
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic business partner with Sales & Commercial Teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with customer needs
- Profitable Growth: Assist the Sales team in identifying commercial actions that drive profitable growth, ensuring initiatives are in line with strategic objectives
- Pipeline Management: Take ownership of continuous tracking, validation, and monitoring of sales pipelines by plant, ensuring timely execution of commercial actions aligned with segment objectives
- Pricing Optimization: Review price trackers and propose enhancements to improve pricing tracking and decision-making capabilities. Participate in larger tenders according to pricing strategy
- Business Case Simulations: Conduct simulations on various business cases to support contract negotiations and optimize decision-making processes
- Analysis and Recommendations: Prepare detailed analysis for the sales team on profitability and sales performance, including monthly price volume mix analysis. Offer recommendations for improvement based on identified drivers
- Forecasting and Planning: Actively support the forecast, planning, and budgeting process in collaboration with the Sales team
- Commercial Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation of commercial strategies aimed at maintaining and growing accounts profitably, consistent with overall company strategy
Your strengths
- University degree in applied economics, business administration, finance, engineering or a related field is desirable
- Several years of experience in Controlling, Sales, Pricing or Commercial Excellence – preferably a proven track record in Sales Controlling
- Business oriented service mindset and have proven your abilities in a business environment
- Strong background in B2B sales structures with complex supply chain requirements
- Experience in data analysis and modeling, as well as high analytical capabilities
- Fluent in English, German and any additional language is an advantage
- Strong ability and experience to manage in a cross-cultural environment
