"To ensure that used agricultural films become raw materials again, IK members have launched the ERDE take-back concept in 2013. RKW is one of the founding members of this unique initiative for the collection and recycling of crop plastics, and through this commitment is making an important contribution to a resource-saving and sustainable agricultural economy with plastics. The goals that RKW has set itself together with its ERDE partners are ambitious: By 2022, the initiative aims to collect and recycle 65% of all silage and stretch films put on the market in Germany in order to close the reusable materials cycle for crop plastics and thus prevent their entry into the soil and the environment."
