"When Excellence Matters": RKW's Corporate Video Film Once Again Awarded
Frankenthal (Germany), November 23, 2018 - "When excellence matters" - the corporate slogan of the world's leading manufacturer of film solutions reflects the philosophy behind RKW's image film (to watch the video, click here: www.rkw-group.com/rkw-image-video), which received one of the most recognized international design awards. Following the Gold Award at the World Media Festival in May 2018, this is now the second award for the RKW corporate video.
The aim of the film is to present the market and quality leadership of RKW in highly diverse application areas and, at the same time, to increase the identification of employees with the company. "Our films, nets and nonwovens are used in many day-to-day products. RKW films ensure, for example, optimum leakage protection in most baby diapers; thanks to packaging films, products are better protected during transport and storage. Our agricultural films and nets contribute to improving the yield and quality of crops for people and animals. For us, excellence is very important because it is our claim to set standards for quality and performance and is thus at the core of our corporate slogan" explains Alexandra Jaranilla, Director Corporate Marketing & Communications of the RKW Group about the motivation for the film.
The image film was made by the Berlin-based SMACK communications agency, the script was written by the two creative minds behind SMACK, Managing Director Regula Bathelt and Creative Director Martin Bruss. "Films have a unique power, which makes them an important part of our corporate communications and brand management strategy. We are delighted that the German Design Council agrees with us on this," says Regula Bathelt. The result is a series of impressive shots taken at the German production plants of RKW. As Director of Photography, Christof Wahl was responsible for the camera work.
The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious competitions for product and communication design. Prizes are awarded to products and projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the German and international design landscape. The German Design Council, the expert for brand and design in Germany, bestows the German Design Award.
