RKW Sustainability Award 2021 goes to Gronau

“Sustainability affects us all, and is a challenge for society as a whole. That is why we take our responsibility as a company and as citizens seriously, and are rolling up our sleeves,” says Harald Biederbick, CEO of the RKW Group.
We have been presenting our internal RKW Sustainability Award since 2012. We award the RKW site that has been able to improve the most in terms of sustainability, measured against the previous year. Our 18 production sites are evaluated in the areas of economy, ecology and social responsibility, factors that are in line with RKW's strategic goals.
This year's winner is our RKW Gronau site. Congratulations to site manager Ludger Kuhn and his team.
Founded in 1969, the Gronau site has been part of the RKW Group since 2002 and produces carded and spunbonded nonwovens as well as hydroentangled spunbonded nonwovens.
