Cross-border action for the World Cleanup Day
A VW-T2-bus full of garbage - that is the volume of about 20 bags of waste, which the team of 11 employees of RKW Nordhorn, and with the support of the city of Nordhorn, collected on Friday, September 18. Nordhorn is located at the German-Dutch boarder.
It took three hours to clear the industrial area around the RKW plant of this garbage. "That was a lot of work, but it was also a lot of fun to set off in the best weather with a handcart and music," said Judith Hutschreuther. Another great idea of the Nordhorn colleagues was not only to clear the area of garbage, but also to bring new, green life to the area by spreading seed bombs. After finishing the work, the team strengthened itself with doner kebab and pizza, and started with a good feeling into the deserved weekend.
