Beside our Headquarters in Frankenthal, our Site RKW Gronau, where we produce nonwovens, has also donated 1600 surgical masks. The donation went to the local Caritas.
For Ludger Kuhn, General Manager RKW Gronau, this was a matter of course: " We are part of the community and see how difficult it is for the facilities getting to personal protective equipment that they need most. We had some and therefore like to share them."
The Caritas Mobile Care in Gronau provides around 250 people in need of care, plus a stationary care facility and the supervised living in the city residential park. Miriam Klöpper (Dipl. Nursing scientist at the Caritas Association Ahaus): " We work with people who are particularly vulnerable and also have a special duty to fulfill our employees in all areas. That's why we are very grateful to the RKW for the spontaneous and unexpected donation."
