Your contribution
- Ensure that products are produced and delivered with the right quality, at the agreed service level and at minimal cost to achieve good financial resultsÂ
- Maintain a KPI system to measure and manage deviations, if necessary initiate and lead counteractions as well as implement a continuous improvement system.Â
- Initiate and drive Operational Excellence initiatives. Introduce and secure lean processes.
- Ensure that all guidelines are met. Drive a zero accident philosophy through accident prevention, environmental and fire protection.
- Apply state-of-the-art leadership methods and tools to measure employees’ performance and to develop the local team by coaching and motivation.Â
- Prepare, execute the yearly financial planning for the site in cooperation with the entire team and Group functions
- Represent the site towards customers, stakeholders and shareholders
Your strengths
- Preferably a degree in industrial/technical engineering and/or business management with corresponding practical experience
- Several years of experience as plant manager within matrix structures, ideally in the plastics or processing industry, an operational background is a must have
- IT manufacturing knowledge and data driven mindset, ERP ideally SAP, BDE systems and ability to establish and sustain related structures
- High operational know-how as well as customer and service orientation
- Performance oriented mindset paired with a pragmatic way of thinking and a hands-on mentality
- Strong leadership skills, ability to give orientation, develop targets and lead without the power of hierarchy
- Change management skills for turnaround management in the plantÂ
