Your contribution

  • Develop a marketing strategy across the different segments by setting strategic cornerstones, facilitating the strategy development process and challenging results
  • Drive, support and challenge R&D  through marketing prioritization
  • Promote group wide excellence in Sales and Marketing functions from concept design to the implementation
  • Establish a state-of-the-art commercial toolkit. Expand pipeline and new sales through demand generation campaigns, customer promotions, digital marketing, sales support, etc. 
  • Provide detailed market intelligence and derive key strategic implications (including reporting & KPI setting)
  • Support the sales and marketing segment organizations with marketing communication planning and their execution (marketing content development etc.)
  • Lead and further develop the Marketing & Product Managers of the segments, collaboration on group wide pricing and margin management

Your strengths

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Marketing or business-related area or similar 
  • At least 8+ years of experience in a leading sales & marketing role, preferably  B2B marketing. Ideally from chemical, plastics or process industry with customers in FMCG environment
  • Very good knowledge of CRM tools and their application
  • Structured way of working with very good skills in conceptual work, establishment and implementation of marketing strategy across all channels
  • Highly analytical and data-driven thinking to set priorities in the pipeline & margins combined with a broad understanding of the business and market
  • Strong leadership skills - be able to lead without the power of hierarchy 
  • Business fluent in English, German is an advantage; willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
